This notice covers information collected by the ammo.host marketing site. For the ammo.host service itself, see the app privacy policy.
Hero line variants
The homepage may show different welcome text to different visitors. To keep your assigned variant consistent, we store the variant key and an expiry timestamp in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.
To count how many visitors see each variant, we generate a random visitor ID and store it in sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab). This ID is sent to the app when the welcome text is shown. It does not identify you personally.
Audit requests
When you request a Handover Audit, we collect your name, email address, app URL, the tool you used, the tier you selected, and any notes you add. We use this information only to handle your audit request.
Audit requests are kept for up to 12 months. AMMO may delete requests earlier or extend retention where needed. For questions or to have your request deleted, email connect@ammo.solutions.
Waitlist sign-ups
If you joined the waitlist before ammo.host opened, we stored your email address and the date and time you signed up. These sign-ups are kept until manually deleted. To have yours deleted, email connect@ammo.solutions.
Rate limiting
To limit repeated requests, we store a keyed hash of your IP address and the time of the attempt. We do not store the address itself. Hashes older than ten minutes are deleted the next time that address is checked.
Who has access
Only AMMO has access to audit requests, waitlist data and rate-limit data.
